A user manual is supplied with every product. Please observe it together with the warnings shown on the product and on its packaging.
1.4 Contact for safety matters
If you identify a safety issue with one of our products, please contact us without delay at info@hurom-europe.com. We examine every report and inform you of the outcome.
1.5 Safety warnings and recalls
In the event of a safety warning or a recall we will inform all affected customers whom we are able to identify, directly and without undue delay, using the e-mail address you gave us when ordering or when registering your product. The processing of your data for this purpose is described in Sect. 8 of our Privacy Policy.

2. Disposal of electrical and electronic equipment (ElektroG)
2.1 Separate disposal
Electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste. Consumers are legally obliged to dispose of old equipment separately from unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances may be handed in at municipal collection points or return points.
2.2 Meaning of the symbol
Old electrical appliances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin. The symbol is printed on the appliance, on its packaging or in the user manual and means that the appliance must not be placed in household waste.
2.3 WEEE registration number
Germany: We are registered with the EAR Foundation (Stiftung Elektro-Altgeräte Register).

2.4 Take-back by us
If you wish to return an old appliance, please contact us at info@hurom-europe.com. We will then inform you, free of charge, of the return options available in your country of delivery.
When you buy a new appliance, we take back one old appliance of the same type free of charge (1:1 take-back). Small appliances with no external dimension exceeding 25 cm are taken back free of charge even without a new purchase (0:1 take-back), limited to three appliances per type of appliance. In addition, old electrical appliances can also be returned free of charge at nearby municipal collection points (such as local recycling centres).
2.5 Remove batteries and lamps beforehand
Old batteries and lamps which are not enclosed by the appliance must be removed from the appliance before it is handed in and must be disposed of separately.
2.6 Deleting personal data
Deleting personal data stored on the old appliance before disposal is your responsibility as the end user.
